Buttercup Utonium is the tritagonist of Powerpuff Girls. She is known as the most aggressive in the team. Buttercup has a very masculine personality compared to her two younger siblings. Among the Powerpuff Girls, Buttercup is the most tomboyish and very easy to date and the most aggressive. She usually has a greater sense of anger than Bubbles and Blossom. She's a little annoying.
Buttercup prefers to hang out with The Derbytantes, a punk gang who loves rollerblading and death balls. She really enjoyed playing death ball with them and was considered a very good friend to them.
In particular, Buttercup hated being called a "princess," and she would fly with a vengeful rage at the villain who called her that. Her new voice was also used to exaggerate his tomboyish nature. Also through the new facial expressions, his anger was evident. Skeletons and crossbones and/or fire will appear in his eyes when he is angry or an evil grin on his face.
Buttercup proves to be a bit good at programming as shown in Oh, Daisy! when she reprogrammed Daisy with ease. Bubbles also commented on this towards the end of the episode, claiming that programming requires a lot of skill. Buttercup has superhuman strength, agility, enhanced endurance & endurance, limited immunity, superhuman reflexes, and the ability to fly. She is also good at snow skiing.
Buttercup also has the power to emit a light green energy aura from her body, which is usually a dangerous military weapon, from missile launchers to cannons.
